It has been decided to request the toll residents through the ward office to form a civil security group in every toll for the security of their toll and the toll residents' livelihood, to coordinate and cooperate with the police for the protection of public property.
A civil protection group will be formed in every village of Tokha Municipality of Kathmandu.
The peace and security meeting held on Wednesday under the coordination of City Chief Prakash Adhikari decided to request the toll residents through the ward office to form a civil security group in every toll for the protection of their toll and the toll residents' livelihood, coordination and cooperation with the police for the protection of public property. The
meeting also decided that every house owner in Tokha should attach a document revealing the identity of the person living in the house and inform the nearest security agency if the person living in the house is doing any suspicious activity.
Similarly, until the situation returns to normal, the meeting has decided to request not to go out of the house after 9 pm except in urgent cases, and to close business after 9 pm.
The decision of the meeting is to request the government of Nepal to restore the police office that has been established in Tokha for a long time, and to repair the security equipment such as street lights and CC cameras that are not working in the municipality.
