Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah informed that the people of the slums who are at risk of flooding have been shifted to four schools. According to him, 70 people have been kept in Vishwa Niketan Mavi Tripureshwar, 52 people in Guhyeshwari Mavi, 251 people from 52 families in Jan Vikas Mavi Kuleshwar and 20 people in Mahendra Saraswati Basic School Teku.
The education department of the metropolis has said that temporary shelters can be arranged in 70 schools in the metropolis. . The Metropolitan Corporation is making food and lodging arrangements for the rescued.
