12 'High Mast Lights' have been installed within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The Metropolitan Municipality has installed 'High Mast Light' at 12 locations under the Bright Metropolis Plan.

Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah informed through social media that the work of installing 62 'high mast lights' at a cost of around 100 million has been progressed with the investment of Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality.

According to him, 12 lights have been connected till today and the rest of the lights will also be connected before 10th. The Metropolitan Municipality has already installed two 'High Mast Lights' in the National Bus Park Naya Bus Park.

Pankaj Malla, Head of Human Resources of Lotse Multi-Purpose Pvt. Ltd., which operates the new bus park, said that three 'high mast lights' will be installed inside the new bus park, but two lights have been installed so far. 

Metropolitan Chief Shah said that more than 2000  The solar street lights have been replaced by electrical ones and are currently burning. The Metropolitan Corporation has completed the final stage of the purchase and installation of street lights worth around 85 crores.
