This year, due to the remoteness of the road, passengers are facing problems in their movement. Deknath Gautam, Secretary General of the National Association of Nepal Transport Professionals, said that due to the landslides on the highway due to the rains, there was a problem in the movement of vehicles.

'Mugling-Narayanghat road section was hit by landslides, buses were stopped for hours, due to which buses did not arrive in Kathmandu on time, causing problems in sending passengers to their destinations,' said General Secretary Gautam. He urged the government to operate the blocked highway on time.

In recent days, the number of passengers going home on Dasain has started to increase even at the National Bus Park Naya Bus Park located in Kathmandu Gongbu. Pankaj Malla, Head of Human Resources, Lotse Multipurpose Corporation, which operates the new bus park, said that the number of passengers going home from the new bus park has increased compared to other times. According to him, at other times around 4,500 passengers leave the New Bus Park, but now the number has increased to more than 15,000 daily.
