In the last financial year, there has been an increase in the revenue of the Hanuman Door Darbar Protection Program. Chandragopal Pradhan, the head of Hanumandho's court area program, informed that the revenue has increased by about two crores in the last financial year compared to the previous financial year. According to the Chief Pradhan, in the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the income was 176.9 million, but in the last fiscal year 2081/82, it collected 194.6 million revenue.

In the previous year, the number of tourists coming to see the area was 47 thousand 399 people from the Republic of Korea, while the number of people coming from other countries was 153 thousand 262 people.

Similarly, 50 thousand 533 people from SAARC countries visited the area last year, while 169 thousand 395 people from other countries visited the area. According to Pradhan, the income has increased due to the increase in the number of tourists compared to the previous year.

The income of the office is the amount collected from the entry fee, especially from the tourists who visit Hanumandhoka. At present, a fee of Rs 500 has been fixed for tourists from SAARC countries to visit this historical place, while a fee of Rs 1,000 has been fixed for tourists from other countries. Although there is no entrance fee for Nepalese, there is a fee for visiting the museum.

The place can be visited at any time, but to see the living Goddess Kumari, the time is fixed for the morning from 11:00 to 12:30 and the evening from 5:00 to 8:00.  During the tourist season, up to 700 tourists come daily to visit Hanumandhoka.

According to Pradhan, there are more tourists especially in August, October and October. This year too, as the historic Indrajatra is approaching, it is said that tourists are expected to come as expected. Since the place and Indrajatra can be observed at the same time, more tourists come to the area during Indrajatra than other times.
