The case of banking offenses has started in District Police Complex Kathmandu. According to the Premises Chief World Officer, out of 12 thousand 915 cases registered in the past one year, 6 thousand 553 cases are related to banking offences.

Incidents of co-operative fraud, unfair transactions, electronic crimes, cyber crimes and crimes related to dematerialized currency have increased.  35 cases are registered daily in the premises. 

In the financial year 2080/081, 26 cases of co-operative fraud were registered, while 32 cases were registered in the financial year 2081/082. The chief officer informed that 140 cases of murder industry have been registered in the premises.
