Police have arrested two people from the cremation ground at Pashupati Aryaghat located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-8.

According to the spokesperson of District Police Complex, Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Chand, during the burning of the corpse on pyre number 2 last Friday afternoon, the police arrested them on charges of indecent behavior after a dispute arose over the fact that bones were removed from the corpse and kept in a pile to be taken away for other purposes. Spokesman Chand informed that the arrestees are being investigated at the district administration office in Kathmandu.
