The police have arrested two people on the charge of removing bones from burning corpses and giving them to others at Aryaghat, a cremation area in Pashupati.

Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Chand informed that among those arrested, Ganesh Dhakal and his accomplices were involved in the burning of bodies.

'On Friday, after the family of the deceased gave the information to the police about the bones of Ram Shahi from Banepa Municipality-9 of Kavrepalanchok and gave them to another person (Tantrik), we arrested both of them', he said.

Spokesperson Chand said that the two people who were taken into custody are now being interrogated and the necessary investigations are being carried out in the police circle.
