On the first Monday of July, all four gates of Pashupatinath have been opened for the devotees since three o'clock in the morning.

Pashupati Area Development Fund's Culture Preservation Division Chief Arun Wiset informed that  He said that arrangements have been made in anticipation that around five lakh devotees can enter the main temple and have darshan throughout the day.

On Mondays in the month of July, Vedic Sanatan Hindus observe fast and worship Lord Shiva in a ritualistic way. For this, the Aradhyadev Pashupatinath Temple, which is listed in the World Heritage List, was thronged by devotees from three o'clock in the morning.

In the month of July, tickets worth less than Rs 7,500 will not be accepted for special worship. On the occasion of Saturday, especially the women observe fast and go to the Shivalayam for worship. As the month of July and Monday are the months and days of Lord Shiva, it is religiously believed that if you take a bath and worship at the Shivalaya this morning, your wishes will be fulfilled and you will get good fortune.

Marwari society has arranged free food for the devotees.  This arrangement will continue even on days other than Monday. From this year onwards, the fund has arranged a free bus on the circular path for visiting Pashupatinath on Mondays in July.

According to the foundation, four buses will serve the devotees by circumambulating the circular path.  It is said that this service will continue on all four Mondays in July.
