Dharahara will be open for 12 hours from today. Dharahara will be open every day from 8 am to 8 pm. According to the Ministry of Urban Development, Dharahara has been opened for 12 hours by extending the time period keeping in mind the needs of the citizens.
Stating that Dharahara will be open for 12 hours from today, Ministry spokesperson Narayan Mainali mentioned that it will also be open on holidays. He informed that Aika will be open from 8 am to 8 pm today, while earlier it was open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. .
'Now we are operating Dharahara in two shifts . Public holidays will also be open for those who want to visit Dharahara,' said spokesperson Narayan. After the reconstruction of Dharahara, which collapsed due to the earthquake of Baisakh 12, 2072, it was opened as a trial from 3rd October last. He said that since the 9th of November, dhararas have been held for the general public with a fee, and the time period has been extended as the common citizens have complained that the opening hours of the dhararas have been reduced.
According to Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, taking into consideration the suggestions of the citizens, the ministry has extended the duration of the Dharahara operation and prepared for the operation in two shifts. According to the Central Project Implementation Unit (Building and Housing) under the Ministry of Urban Development, Rs. Two hundred and thirty-seven thousand and sixty-five people have observed Dharahara, which is being operated under the
unit. Special structure operation and management development committee (establishment) order-2081 paid Dharahara is being conducted.
