Municipal Council of Chandragiri Municipality has passed the total budget of 2.93 billion 46 lakhs for the financial year 2082/83 by majority vote.
The 16th session of the Municipal Assembly has allocated 1 billion 22 crore 78 lakhs towards operational expenditure and capital expenditure 1 billion 70 million 68 million. City spokesperson Krishna Prasad Khadgi presented the budget and program in the meeting.
Mayor Ghanshyam Giri informed that the budget and program for the year 2082/83 was passed by a majority and expressed his belief that the budget will address the demands of the city residents. He made it clear that the budget is implementation-oriented and called for the prosperity of the city through consensus, cooperation and unity.
