Lalitpur police arrested Deepak Limbu, a resident of Pathri, Morang district, who was absconding, and arrested Dorje Tamang, alias Dorje of Shanishare Municipality-10.
Spokesman and Superintendent of Police Chakraraj Joshi of Lalitpur District Police Office informed that Dorje, who was on the run on 9th Chait 9th of 2076, was arrested from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-22 Bungmati on Tuesday and sent to Morang today.
Tamang, who has been absconding for the past six years, was arrested from his sister Anu Tamang's residence by a team led by Shashidhar Sharma, in-charge of Police Division and Police Inspector Shashidhar Sharma.
Spokesman Joshi said that he was arrested while hiding even after changing his permanent address. According to him, based on the complaint of Man Bahadur Limbu, an arrest warrant was issued against him on May 3, 2077.
