The police have arrested two people on the charge of fraud of 58 lakh rupees by sending them to UK and Qatar for foreign employment.
Kazikumar Acharya, Information Officer of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, informed that 31-year-old Navina Dahal Ghimire of Dolakha Baiteshwar Rural Municipality-3 and 43-year-old Lachuman Sah Teli of Sarlahi Kaudena Rural Municipality-4 were arrested and made public.
He said, 'Among those arrested, Navina took Rs 52 lakh from two people saying they would send them to UK and Lachuman took Rs 6 lakh from three people saying they would send them to Qatar.
Information Officer Acharya said that those arrested have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal for necessary investigation and action.
