A female student died on Monday when a van of the same school hit her inside the compound of Edify International School in Kalanki, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14.
9-year-old Sonakshi Yadav of Sarlahi Ghar, Kuleshwar, Kathmandu, died, said Appelraj Bohra, spokesperson of District Police Complex, Kathmandu.
She was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Shaheed Memorial Hospital. Five of the six people who were injured in the collision of the van are being treated at Nepal National Hospital and one person is being treated at the Bayodha Hospital in Balkhu.
The police said that the van driver who was injured in the accident is also being treated at Bayodha Hospital Balkhu. The police said that they are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
