One person died after being hit by a pole while moving an electric pole in Thaiva, Lalitpur.
Police Inspector Vikram KC of Bandegaon police circle informed that 55-year-old local Ramesh Shahi was crushed by the pole when the JCB failed to erect a pole during road construction in Saraswatitar toll located in Godavari Municipality-14 today.
After the incident, angry locals broke the glass on the right side of JCB. '80-90 locals gathered at the scene, the police team tried to calm down the incident. We have sent the body of the deceased to Patan Hospital for examination,' he said.
