The indefinite demonstration started by RPR and other parties and monarchist groups with the demand of re-establishment of monarchy and Hindu nation is continuing. Accordingly, the royalists announced that they will demonstrate in the Darbarmarg area on Saturday. However, after the District Administration Office of Kathmandu designated the Narayanhiti Darbar Sangrahalaya area as a prohibited area with effect from Saturday until June 24, they have changed the event venue.
The United People's Movement Mobilization Committee under the leadership of Navraj Subedi has issued a notification at night and the government has issued a prohibition order. It has been informed that the venue on June 17 has been changed to Durbarmarg and Shantibatika, Ratnapark.
In the notice signed by Subedi, it is mentioned that the peaceful public movement for peace will start from 1 o'clock. It is mentioned in the notification that the government has issued a prohibitory order because the movement will reach its climax with the support of the people. It was no surprise that the government, which has repeatedly obstructed the human rights and democratic rights of the Nepali people, created a ban. The prohibition itself is the government's acknowledgment that the people's movement is moving in the direction of success,'' the notice said, 'We request and invite the people of Kathmandu Valley, including the people of the country, to participate in the movement to take the ongoing peaceful movement to a decisive level according to the people's wishes.
coordinator Subedi said that the public demonstration will continue. "Democracy will come, Hindu nation will be established with monarchy," said Subedi, "this Sangharya will remain intact until our demands are met."
Saturday will be a holiday and the Jatra in the valley will be over, so the number of people coming to the demonstration will increase, they said.
RPPA spokesperson Sagun Sundar Lavati said, "We are making the movement more powerful by focusing on Kathmandu." Gentle disobedience and satyagraha will be the form of the movement. The organizers have asked people to gather on the streets with umbrellas and water bottles as it might rain. The royalists present at the demonstration raised slogans and processions and the top leaders expressed their opinion in the meeting.
Yesterday Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari has issued a notification and has prohibited gathering of more than five people from Kesarmahal Chowk through Narayanhiti Darbar Sangrahalaya South Gate to Jai Nepal Mode and through Mahendra Salik to Narayanhiti Darbar Sangrahalaya South Gate and holding protest programs like fasting, dharna, siege, processions, demonstrations and meetings.
