Naubise-Nagdhunga road will be closed at night for 10 days.
This road, which is considered to be the main road for commuting to the federal capital, Kathmandu, is going to be closed from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM from May 22 to May 31 for road construction.
As the road is being constructed in the Nagadhunga-Piplamode area of Tribhuvan Rajpath, it has been mentioned in the notification by Mohan Prasad Neupane, the Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, that the road will be closed at night to avoid possible risks and to proceed with the work at a fast pace.
Light and heavy vehicles going from Kathmandu to Naubise will be stopped at Nagadhunga check post at night and vehicles coming from Naubise to Kathmandu will be stopped at Khatripauwa bridge . At that time, the Nagadhunga-Muglin Road Planning Office has requested vehicles to use alternative roads.
Small and medium vehicles will be able to use Sitapaila-Bhimdhunga-Ramkot-Dharke road. Similarly, as an alternative route, one can go through Samakhusi-Tokha-Gurjevanjyang-Chhare-Trishuli-Galchi road. Ambulance and security agency vehicles will not stop. The office has requested to follow the rules during the shutdown without overtaking .
