Chandragiri municipality is going to provide ten lakh rupees to its three neighboring municipalities under the inter-municipal cooperation program to implement various projects.
Chandragiri has provided that amount to Kirtipur Municipality to construct Thapagaon Kharibot Kulo located in Kirtipur-4. It is said that the damage was caused by the incessant rain on October 10th, 11th and 12th.
Similarly, Chandragiri has provided that amount to Dhunibensi Municipality to upgrade Piplamod-Nishakot-Dudebhanjang road. That road is on the border of Chandragiri-2 and Dhunibensi-9. Chandragiri has provided Rs 10 lakh for the motorway connecting Fasttrack via Timurbot-OB Danda-Ghangeri located in Dakshinkali Municipality-8.
Mayor Ghanshyam Giri signed a bilateral agreement with mayors of Kirtipur, Dhunibensi and Dakshinkali municipalities in an event held in Chandragiri Municipality. Chandragiri Municipality Deputy Chief Basanti Shrestha, Chief Administrative Officer Surendra Thapa Magar, Municipal Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Khadgi Chandragiri-15 Ward President Ghanshyam Luintel, Head of Education Youth and Sports Branch Sujanraj Khanal and other elected representatives and employees were present on the occasion.
