If a wild animal is injured, orphaned or someone is hurting it, Sadar Zoo has requested to report it immediately.

According to the head of the zoo, Satyanarayan Shah, as soon as the information about such incidents is received, the trained rescue team immediately reaches the scene and rescues them. "We have an experienced rescue team, who rescue animals not only within the valley, but across Nepal," said Shah.

Only a few days ago, he informed that leopards were rescued twice in Ramechhap. After receiving the information, the rescue work was completed in coordination with the zoo and related agencies.

According to Shah, the central team of the zoo remains active in Kathmandu Valley, while rescue branches are also operating in Chitwan, Bardia, Shuklaphanta and Koshi areas.

The chief has requested the general public to immediately inform the concerned authorities or the zoo without abusing, attacking or neglecting the animals. It is believed to play an important role in wildlife conservation .
