Saroj Guragai, Chief Administrative Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has reached the Metropolitan City Office. He was guarded by the staff and taken to the office.

The staff tried to break the lock on his office . In that sequence, the lead has broken. To stop Guragai in the metropolitan city, Mayor Balendra Shah mobilized the metropolitan police and obstructed it.

He also ordered to keep Guragai's office closed. The city police tried to stop Guragai at the gate who had reached the metropolitan city to appear. However, the employees allowed him to enter the office without stopping him. Guragai was kept on leave from last January 7.

Since there is no chief administrative officer, the employees of the metropolitan corporation have not been able to get their salaries for three months. Municipal Corporation services are affected.
