Today, the police arrested a person on the charge of murdering a person on the 10th of Chait at the parking lot near the picnic ground in Madhyapurthimi Municipality-9 Bode Nilbarahi.
District Police Complex and the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office in Bhaktapur have arrested 57-year-old Himal Budha Magar of Rolpa Pariwar Rural Municipality-6 on the charge of murdering 66-year-old Omprakash Rai of Khotang Kopilasgarhi Rural Municipality-2 and currently residing in Bode.
When he was going to sleep in the evening, 100 Rai, who was with Budhamgar, took the Khosr and when he did not give it back, he came in a rage and threw Rai to the ground and killed him by hitting him repeatedly with a stone, according to Bhaktapur Deputy Superintendent of Police Dhundiraj Neupane. Magar, who was involved in the
incident, has been remanded in custody by the court and further investigation is being carried out, he said. Similarly, on the evening of February 27th, the police have arrested two people today on charges of beating and killing 32-year-old Lakshman Khadka on the Radhakrishna Road section of Madhyapurthimi Municipality-2 Sanothimi Magargaon.
Khadka, who was found injured on the road, died after being beaten, and the police started investigating the incident after the doctor told them. Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhaktapur Dhundiraj Neupane informed that 39-year-old Yadav Paudel of Sarlahi Lalbandi Municipality-9 and 24-year-old Anish Tamang of Sindhuli Tinpatan Rural Municipality-3 Chakam were arrested on charges of being involved in his murder.
The arrestee was detained for five more days and the permit was extended, he said.
