Nepal Police has seized foreign currency worth about 25 million rupees. The team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested one person with the amount in dollars and euros.
According to SSP Ramesh Basnet, Head of Crime Investigation Office, the money was recovered from Tokha area, which was hidden in a vehicle at night. 'More research is being done on this,' Basnet said, 'Because the amount of money is large, counting is being done using a machine.'
According to him, the amount found is estimated to be 250 million according to Nepalese rupees. The police said that they are preparing to release detailed information about the incident today through a press conference.
