The Nepal Electricity Authority has announced that there will be a power cut in various places in Kathmandu today for maintenance and other purposes. The Authority has published a public notice and informed that there will be power cuts at various distribution center locations.

According to the authority, electricity will be cut in the lines distributed through Matatirtha feeder under Balambu distribution center from 11 am to 4 pm today. It is mentioned in the notice that the feeder will be shut down for 'conductor upgrading'. The line will be cut in Kanchan Gate, Bosigaon, Bouthli, Satungal Chowk under the Satungal feeder of the same distribution center today from 11 AM to 4 PM. 

Likewise, electricity will be cut in Makalbari, Dakshindhoka, Tiwari Toll, Shivchok, Aryal Village, Greenhill City, Bhadrabas, Na Village, Hariyali Nagar, Gajarkot area from 10 am to 1 pm in the Danchi feeder of Jorpati distribution center. It is mentioned in the notification of the authority that the line will be cut to pull the wire on the Mulapani Peopleboat. 

Mulpanichour, Thali, Thapachok, Laxminarayan Chowk, Chapabot, Devaldhara, Mankamanamai Mandir, Mulpani Khare, Dumakhal, Danchi, Bhadrabas, Gajarkot areas of the same distribution center will also be cut from 10 am to 1 pm today. 

It is reported that the line will be cut in places like New Pati, Bramakhel, Indrayani, Sankhu, Jarsingpaupa, Nanglebhare, Gagal, Gagalfedi, Mulpani Peopleboat which are in the Sankhu feeder of Jorpati distribution center. The Authority has said that the line which has been completed before the scheduled time will be put into operation again.
