All the ticket counters of New Bus Park located in Gongbu, where public vehicles travel across the country, have been started to buy bus tickets in the 'online' system.
The only national bus park in the country, New Bus Park, has been made technology-friendly, and in order to provide services to passengers in an easy manner, online ticket booking has been started from all 47 ticket counters inside the bus park.
Lotsey Multi-Purpose Pvt. Ltd.'s head of human resources, Pankaj Malla informed that the ticket counter of the bus park has been moved to an online system in cooperation with transport businessmen in the new bus park operated by Lotse Multi-Purpose Pvt. Ltd. in agreement with Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City - 26 Gongbu bus park is currently used by passengers in 70 districts across the country using public transport. Apart from this, vehicles have been moving from Koteshwar to Sindhupalchok, Okhaldhunga, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Khotang and other districts.
Apart from the new bus park, vehicles are currently moving from the capital's Kalanki, old bus park, Gaushala, Koteshwar and Sohrakhutte to different districts. Kathmandu Metropolitan City is working with the goal of making all vehicles travel through the New Bus Park.
In the year 2056, a new bus park was brought into operation by an agreement between the head of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and the president of Lotse Multi-Purpose Pvt.
In this bus park, separate bus parking lots have been constructed for parking buses coming from outside districts and buses operating within the valley. The new bus park currently has a parking space for 800 vehicles. At present, 350 to 400 vehicles are moving from this bus park to different districts.
