52 crore more revenue collection by police in one month

Nepal Police has collected more revenue of 52 crore 47 lakh rupees in one month during the control of various criminal activities.

The Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police and Deputy Inspector General of Police Dinesh Kumar Acharya informed that 524.7 million six thousand eight hundred and seventy nine rupees revenue was collected from the country last January. 

Most of the revenue has been collected in the implementation of court decisions. 23 crore 92 lakh 91 thousand rupees more revenue has been collected only from the arrest of fugitive criminals. This is more than 45 percent of the total revenue collection.

After that, a revenue of 16 crore 27 lakh rupees has been collected from the seizure of customs evasion goods. Similarly, spokesperson Acharya said that 9.59 million rupees have been collected from traffic operations, 1 million rupees from the seizure of illegal gold and silver, and 37 million rupees from hundi traders. 

According to him, the undisclosed amount is 81 lakh rupees, 22 lakh 53 thousand rupees during the control of illegal river product mining, illegal wood seized from  8 lakh 91 thousand rupees and 15 lakh 71 thousand rupees revenue has been collected from illegal livestock control.
