The Guthi Sansthan is going to provide residential facilities to the devotees who come for the darshan of Pashupatinath on Mahashivratri from Monday.

For this, Baikunth Regmi, the head of the Kathmandu branch of the institute, who started counting the saints who came to Pashupati area from Monday morning, informed. For the sadhusant who come here on Mahashivratri, from February Krishna Ekadashi, the Sansthan has a tradition of arranging firewood to stay, eat and make music. It is also a tradition that the institution bids farewell to those who have been placed in this way on the day of February Krishna Aunsi with Dakshina according to their level. For Mahashivratri, thousands of sadhusants from India have come.

On Mahashivratri, there is a method for the President to perform Sankalp Puja on February Krishna Ekadashi to sit, eat and make firewood for the saints who come to Pashupatinath. It is also reported that President Ramchandra Paudel will perform Sankalp Puja at Shitalniwas at 10 am on Monday.

Sankalp Pooja will include radii, kamandalu, chamar, food items and other things given to sadhu saints, according to the institute. Due to the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, India this year, it is expected that more devotees will come there to bathe there.
