Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the Swaywalk Tower in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. Hoisting the national flag of Nepal on the top of Alsarma Tower on the occasion of Democracy Day, Prime Minister Oli responded that the Skywalk Tower is an attractive destination that is convenient for everyone from children to the elderly.
Skywalk Tower Managing Director Bishnuhari Pandey said that the Prime Minister's visit with his wife Radhika Shakya and members of his secretariat on the occasion of a public holiday has given encouragement to the tourism business sector. On that occasion, he had lunch at the Sky Restaurant on the 22nd floor of the Tower.
The tower is 78.5 meters tall and has a glass skywalk at a height of 65 meters above ground level. This is the only destination in Kathmandu to enjoy the adventure of walking on glass. About 2 billion rupees have been invested for the project.
When looking through the skywalk, it seems as if Ranipokhari and Gantaghar are in the courtyard of the tower. In the tower with 25 floors, you can go up to 22 floors by elevator and the remaining three floors by stairs. The tower, which has two elevators, has the capacity to carry more than 45 people at a time.
The 25th floor of the
tower is the adventure floor. After reaching there, you can walk on the glass floor. Walking there feels like walking in open fields.
