It has been revealed that the worker who was found dead in the Kalimati vegetable market in Kathmandu on Wednesday morning was killed by his friends. According to the police, 41-year-old Ramakrishna Dahal, who worked in the vegetable market, was killed.

His body was found near his room in Kalimati with injuries on his head and various parts of his body. Locals informed the police after finding the body near the room on Wednesday morning.

The team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Kathmandu Police Complex revealed that Dahal was beaten to death by four of his friends during the investigation.

The police have arrested four people including Buddha Lama for their involvement in the incident and have started investigation. Lama was arrested while being treated at Nepal Medical College Jorpati.

They used to work in Kalimati market all day and were staying together at night . According to the police, all five of them are laborers hired to work in the vegetable market through contractors.
