The Nepal Electricity Authority has announced that electricity will be cut in various places in Kathmandu today. For the purpose of undergrounding the distribution system, electricity will be cut in the places under the Gongbu feeder of Maharajganj distribution center today.

According to the information released by the authority, electricity flow will be stopped from 11 am to 15 pm in Vasundhara, Gongbu Town Planning, Samakhusi, Ranibari area. The authority has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the customers of various places distributed under that feeder. It is mentioned in the notification that the authority will also be active to complete the specified work before the scheduled time.

Similarly, it is mentioned in the notification that the electricity flow will be interrupted from 10 am to 5 pm for the relocation of high capacity transmission lines and poles in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, President's Office, Police Tolim Center, Nirmal Niwas and other places under the same distribution center's hospital feeder.
