Out of the 43 people who were injured in an accident involving a bus carrying student number Ba 2 B 7958 on the road of Shankharapur Municipality-5 Kattike on Wednesday afternoon, 27 people returned home after treatment on Thursday. Spokesman of District Police Complex Kathmandu Police Superintendent Appelraj Bohra informed that they returned home after treatment.
According to him, the bus carrying students of Sathya Sai Academy met with an accident while coming from a picnic in Nagarkot.
11-year-old Krischal Puri of Urlabari Municipality-7 in Morang, Suresh Tamang 23-year-old of Balefi Rural Municipality-7 of Sindhupalchok and 14-year-old Shushank Dotel of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-3 of Sindhupalchok who was a Kathmandu Buddhist died in the accident on Wednesday. All three of them are students.
Krischal, who was seriously injured in the accident, died at Maharajganj Teaching Hospital, Suresh at Nepal Medical College and Shushank died at Shakharapur Hospital.
Now two are being treated at KMC Hospital, nine at NMC Hospital, one at Medici Hospital, two at Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, one at Helping Hand Hospital at Chabhil and one at People's Life Care Hospital, District Police Complex Kathmandu spokesperson Bohra informed. He also said that the bus driver was arrested and investigated.
