A 201-member original ceremony committee has been formed under the coordination of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey to organize the Mahashivratri festival in Pashupati region.
The committee was formed at the council meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Minister Pandey, who is also the chairman of the Pashupati Area Development Fund Management Council. Member Secretary Milan Kumar Thapa informed that preparations for Mahashivratri have been started in Pashupati area by forming nine thematic sub-committees under the committee.
