Arrested for defrauding more than 6 lakh rupees by saying 'I will send you to Greece'

On Wednesday, police arrested 30-year-old Roshmi Soti, who lives in Banasthali, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, and whose home is Jhyalbas, Hoopsekot Rural Municipality-4, former Nawalparasi, on the charge of cheating money by pretending to be attractive salary in foreign employment.

Based on the victim's complaint that Roshmi took 640,000 rupees from one victim saying that she would send him to Greece, the police deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested him from Kathmandu Vanasthali. Police said that he has been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
