People's representatives of Kathmandu Metropolitan City have started to clean up the rhetoric of their area. Under the leadership of Municipal Corporation-9 Ward President Ramji Bhandari, the people's representatives focused on cleaning the Tilganga Blue Bridge on Saturday.

In the 610th week of the Wagmati clean-up campaign, it was cleaned with the activism of ward members Tekraj Adhikari, Rachna Sunam, Srijana Vetwal, Kamanpa Ward No. 11 President Hiralal Tandukar and other public representatives.

Campaigner Kishore Singh Shahi informed that local residents, empowered Wagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee employees, Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Limited, KMNP Environment Department Teku, Bagmati Clean-up Campaigner and former Chief Secretary Leelamani Paudyal along with Bagmati Clean-up campaigners were also active in the clean-up.

He said that three metric tons of non-biodegradable waste was managed from the Bagmati bank of that area. All the garbage picked up in the truck of the Kamanpa Environment Department was managed. Kamanpa Ward No. 9 and 8  In a joint initiative, 20 people under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Shiv Paudel of the Metropolitan Police Force will clean and plant plants on the right and left banks from Tilganga Wagmati Bridge to Prayaghat. Campaigner Shahi said that the program was made.

Last Saturday, under the leadership of Ward No. 8 Chairman Ashaman Sangat, the river bank in Pashupati area was cleaned. The Bagmati Clean-up Campaign which started on 5th June 2070 has been regularly held on the Bagmati bank every Saturday.
