The joint market monitoring team has intensified monitoring of food/grocery shops, water industry, edible oil (mustard mill) industry and milk dairy industry operating within Chandragiri municipality.

Ltd. in Balambu, Chandragiri-12, and found inedible substances i.e. 'neutralizer positive' and immediately destroyed 600 liters of milk.  Also, the non-edible ghee, nauni and paneer produced by the industry were also destroyed by the monitoring team.  According to the Consumer Protection Act 2075, the municipality imposed a fine of two lakhs on that industry. 

According to the hygiene and quality guidelines of milk and milk products 2075  The milk quality standards of that industry were checked. According to the municipality, the monitoring team also monitored various mustard mills operating in Chandragiri Ward No. 11, 12 and 14. In this process, while checking the quality of the oil produced from that mill, it was not found to be adulterated with non-food items  Chandragiri Municipality Industry, Commerce and Business Promotion Branch has informed.
