29-year-old Nim Pasi Sherpa was arrested by the police on Sunday on the charge of defrauding him in the lure of attractive salary in foreign employment.
Sherpa, who lives in Bhojpur Salpasilicho Rural Municipality-5 and Kathmandu Gokarneshwar Municipality-2, was accused of taking 1.5 million rupees from two people saying that he would send them to Croatia. He was arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12 by the police deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku based on the complaint of the victim.
Accused Sherpa has been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
