After robbing a fake doctor...

Any patient has a lot of trust in the doctor. But what if the doctor turns into a robber? A similar incident happened in Lalitpur.

When a patient relied on a fake doctor, he was robbed instead of treatment. The details of the incident have been made public after the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested the accused of the incident a few days ago and released it today. 

30-year-old Dr. Mahottari Jaleshwar Municipality-2 Haritol address and Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-17 Gwarko was accused of being involved in robbery by pretending to be a fake doctor. Jitendra Mandal alias Alok has been arrested by the police. 

Mandal was arrested from Nuwakot Panchkanya Rural Municipality-4 Arukhark by police deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Branch Lalitpur. Police Superintendent Kazi Kumar Acharya informed that Rs 59,360 and three mobile phones were recovered from him. According to him, the victim was a diabetic. He became friends with fake doctor Mandal through social media Facebook. Mandal went to the victim's house to meet and get to know him, claiming to be a doctor. 

In the name of treatment, he administered fainting medicine to the patient and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash worth Rs 3 lakh from the room. The police have informed him that today he has been sent to police circle Satdobato for necessary investigation and action on the crime of theft.
