150,000 prizes each to 10 creators by Kathmandu Metropolis

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, Kathmandu Metropolitan City has honored 10 artists with Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand each.

10 people including painter Kiran Manandhar were honored with cash in the program organized by KAMPA here on Saturday with the participation of Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah, Deputy Chief Sunita Dango. 

Kumar Basnet from the field of folk singing, Kiran Manandhar from the field of painting, Dr. Arun Saimi from the field of health, former head of KAMPA PI Singh from the field of politics and social services, Narendra Kansakar from the field of film in the field of artistry, Mall K Sundar from the field of literature. According to Kampa, Sangina Vaidya of taekwondo, Pratibha Mali of volleyball and Gyanendra Malla of cricket were honored for

sports. The honorable person has been awarded a cash prize of Rs 150,000.  In the

ceremony, all 32 wards of Kampa displayed their cultural tableaus, Metropolitan Police force's kawaz, games, as well as tools and equipment used by Kampa for urban service and facility distribution and urban management. Fire engines, ambulances, road cleaning brooms, garbage collection vehicles and other equipment were displayed.  

KAMPA has informed that an exhibition of original food, drinks and products and materials produced under 'One Ward One Sample Product' has been started at Tundikhel Maidan from 10 o'clock this morning. 

Musical program Babukrishna Pariyar, Indrakala Rai, Urgen Dong, Sugam Pokharel and the Bajagaza, Kehar Limbu and Joy Band, Mahes Kafle, Asmita Adhikari, Kuma Sagar, Deep Shrestha, Omvikram Bisht, James Pradhan, Sujil Karmacharya, Sanjay Shrestha, Yogeshwar Amatya, Rachna Rimal, Sushant Ghimire, Sandeep Bista, Chakra Bam and other actors. He gave a presentation.
