The police have arrested three people along with a customs evading vehicle and 14 lakh 60 thousand rupees of undisclosed source. Police arrested three people including a Chinese citizen from Kirtipur Municipality of Kathmandu based on the information that the customs evading vehicle was running at large.

The police announced the arrested on Tuesday. In that case, 43-year-old Chiranjeevi Paudel of Sandhikhark Municipality of Arghakhanchi, 30-year-old Ranjan Jaiswal of Lohona Rural Municipality of Dhanusha and 24-year-old Chinese citizen Suijumlung from Dakshinkal were arrested, District Police Complex Kathmandu said. 

The police recovered from them a customs evading vehicle with the number Ba 24 Ch 3293, car with the number B AA 7779, Rs 14 lakh 60 thousand in cash, five laptops, eight mobiles and 23 smart watches. 

Meanwhile 

Nine gamblers have been arrested while gambling at Mihir Shrestha's house in Tokha Municipality-10 Gongbu, Kathmandu. The police team deputed from the Maharajganj police circle arrested them with 50,000 Nepali rupees, 700 US dollars and four books.
