The fugitive defendant in the duty killing case has been arrested after 15 years. Kamala Gole Tamang, who was absconding after murdering Bir Bahadur Tamang of Garimudi Gavis-3 of Dolakha on 20 October 2067, was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police from Gokarneshwar in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The Supreme Court sentenced Bir Bahadur to 12 years imprisonment on August 11, 2072 in the case of Nij Gole killing Bir Bahadur with a machete. According to the police, 47-year-old Kamala, who lives in Vaiteshwar rural municipality-1 of Dolakha, absconded after her duty.
