Police arrested 31-year-old Khaliq Khan, resident of Sarlahi Malangwa Municipality-6 and Kathmandu Chandragiri Municipality-15, on the charge of defrauding the money by saying that he would send him to Qatar on the lure of attractive salary in foreign employment.
Based on the victim's complaint that Khaliq had taken 80,000 rupees from one victim saying that he would send him to Qatar and had no contact, the police deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested him from Chandragiri Municipality-15 Tina police station.
He has been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
