Representatives of Dalit civil society and various organizations have demonstrated in Maitigharmandla, demanding economic justice and social security.

In the demonstration organized by 'Asia Dalit Rights Forum', a demand has been made that the state should bring effective policies and plans to make the Dalit community financially strong.      In the

demonstration, Bhakta Vishwakarma, Secretary General of Asia Dalit Rights Forum, said that economic equality is not possible without social justice and that there is no end to social security, health rights, environmental justice, caste discrimination and the need for a unified movement for the rights of the Dalit community. At the

demonstration program, Abhishek Sah, program manager of the Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations, Kamala Vishwakarma, president of Jagran Media Center, Sanjusingh Vishwakarma of Dalit Seva Sangh, Mohan Paswan, president of Rashtriya Nepal Dalit Kalyan Sangh Siraha, and Lakshmi Pariyar, president of Dalit Mahila Kendra Nepal, expressed their opinions. .      

The protestors carried banners and placards demanding that the state should take immediate steps to solve caste discrimination, social security, health rights, food crisis and environmental problems.

Asia Dalit Rights Forum, Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations, Nepal, Federation of Dalit Non-Governmental Organizations, Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Association, Dalit Women's Association, Samanyai Samaj Nepal, National Dalit Network, Jagran Media, Samata Foundation and other organizations also participated in the demonstration.       

The protestors have demanded a concrete policy and implementation of the state for the economic upliftment of the Dalit community as there is no possibility of social justice without economic justice.
