Police have seized a large quantity of banned narcotics in Siraha. Police have seized 276 kg of marijuana from Karjanha Municipality-11.
A team led by Police Inspector Jeevkant Chaudhary from the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya recovered the marijuana packed in 11 plastic bags from a bush about 300 meters away from the Karjanha Municipality office on Saturday evening, police said.
The marijuana seized from there has been brought to Mirchaiya and further investigation is underway, said DSP Ramesh Bahadur Pal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Siraha.
