The case registered against Siraha Municipality Mayor Navin Kumar Yadav for indecent behavior has been converted into a case of mutilation. During the investigation, the indecent case was converted into a case of mutilation.
Mayor Yadav had abused and kicked and punched 50-year-old office assistant Ram Sharan Yadav while he was attending a meeting at 9 am on Chaitra 23. His ribs were broken due to the beating.
In this incident, on Chaitra 25, the District Police Office, Siraha, had also registered a case of indecent behavior against Mayor Yadav and municipal employee Rohit Mestar, who was involved in the beating along with him, and obtained an arrest warrant.
