Police have arrested one person in the course of investigation into the cooker bomb explosion incident at the Bar Association office in front of the Siraha District Court. The arrested person is Gumsta Yadav of Sukhipur Municipality-3, according to the District Police Office.
He had opened an office in front of the Siraha District Court and was doing accounting business. The police have said that they have taken him into custody on suspicion and are investigating.
District Police Office spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal informed that a detailed investigation is underway into the incident. 'We have arrested one person on suspicion and have been investigating for four days,' he said, adding, 'More details will be made public only after the investigation concludes.'
A cooker bomb exploded at the Bar Association office on Falgun 12. Saurabh Yadav, an employee of Siraha Municipality-1, was injured in the explosion. He suffered an injury to his leg.
The explosion also damaged the office's computers and other equipment.
