The District Police Office, Parsa, has arrested 47 defendants who were absconding after being sentenced by the court in various cases in Falgun. The defendants were caught in a month as part of the judgment implementation campaign. According to the police, the arrested have yet to serve a total of 12 years and 3 months in prison as sentenced by the court in various cases. In addition, a fine of Rs 348,455 is yet to be recovered from them. The police said that the arrested absconding defendants have been sent to the relevant prisons after completing the necessary legal process and recovering the imprisonment and fine.

Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Raju Karki said that the District Police Office, Parsa, is conducting a special campaign to arrest absconding defendants who were sentenced by the court. “We are continuing this campaign by prioritizing it,” he said, “We will make the search and arrest of absconding defendants more effective.”
