Bablu Gupta has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from the National Independent Party in Siraha-1. Gupta won by securing 41,333 votes.
Nepali Congress' Ram Sundar Chaudhary came second with 9,784 votes. Similarly, CPN-UML's Ram Shankar Yadav, an outgoing MP from the same constituency, came third with 7,866 votes.
Here, Nepali Communist Party's Ram Chandra Yadav got 2,853 votes while JSP Nepal's Satyanarayan Yadav got 2,285 votes.
