104 candidates have registered their candidacies in the ongoing election for four members of the House of Representatives from Saptari. 21 candidates have registered their candidacies from Constituency No. 1, 34 from Constituency No. 2, 22 from Constituency No. 3, and 27 from Constituency No. 4.

Janmat Party Vice President Jayakant Raut, outgoing Politburo member of CPN-UML Sumanraj Pyakurel, District President of Nepali Congress Ramdev Sah, and others have filed their candidacies from Constituency 1.

Janmat Party President Dr. Chandrakant Raut, former Irrigation Minister Umesh Kumar Yadav, and former Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh have filed their candidacies from Constituency 2. Former Irrigation Minister Yadav has filed his candidacies from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, and former Chief Minister Singh has filed his candidacies from Swabhiman Party.

Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal President Upendra Yadav, former MPs Dinesh Kumar Yadav of Nepali Congress, and Tarakant Chaudhary of CPN-UML have filed their candidacies from Constituency 3. Former MP Tejulal Chaudhary of Nepali Congress, JSP Nepal's women leader Dr. Wambi Singh, Sitaram Sah of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) and others have filed their candidacies from Constituency No. 4.

There are a total of 446,402 voters here, including 233,096 men, 213,283 women and 23 others.
