The seven-party alliance has agreed to give the Speaker of the Madhesh Province to JSP Nepal. The Provincial Assembly meeting to be held on Wednesday to select the Speaker is publishing the election schedule.

JSP Nepal's central general secretary and provincial lawmaker Lalbabu Raut informed that an agreement has been reached to give the Speaker of Madhesh Province to JSP Nepal. 'The meeting of the seven parties has already decided to give the Speaker to our party,' said General Secretary Raut, 'The meeting will be held after the provincial assembly meeting publishes the selection schedule and the person will be decided.'

It is seen that JSP Nepal will put forward the party's chief whip Ram Ashish Yadav for the Speaker. JSP Nepal will send ministers to the provincial government only after the Speaker is decided. JSP Nepal has not yet sent a minister to the government formed under the leadership of Congress' Krishna Prasad Yadav.

Congress chief whip Kubar Kant Jha informed that the Speaker selection process will be taken forward in the provincial assembly meeting to be held on Wednesday. According to him, the Speaker selection process will be completed by Poush 5.

Meanwhile, the Congress-led Madhesh Province government on Tuesday afternoon expanded its cabinet by appointing Rani Sharma Tiwari of the LSP as the Minister of Education and Culture and Jawahar Kushwaha of the NCP as the Minister of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water. Similarly, Jangilal Rai of the Congress, who was appointed without portfolio, has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Health and Population and Kanishk Patel of the NCP as the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Environment.

Janmat Party parliamentary party leader Mahesh Prasad Yadav, who took oath as a minister with Chief Minister Yadav, was also given the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. Chief Minister Yadav, on the other hand, will take the vote of confidence on Friday.
