51 kg of marijuana has been seized from an ambulance. The ambulance was taken into custody by the police this morning as it was traveling from Hiralal Tole in Ghurkauli, Hariban Municipality-5.
According to the District Police Office, the ambulance number J1Cha 1558, belonging to Nepal Red Cross Society Ramnagar Bahu Arwa, was seized by a team from the Area Police Office in Hariban based on a confidential tip-off. Its driver, Surendra Raya Yadav, 37, of Saruatha, Yamunamai Rural Municipality-4, Rautahat, has also been arrested.
Meanwhile, Ganga Bahadur Waiba, 25, of Narayankhola, Lalbandi Municipality-11, Hirapur, has been seized by the police along with 52 kg of marijuana.
