Armed Police have arrested an Indian citizen with a Katuwa pistol from Halkhori, Mahottari.
An Indian national was arrested with weapons during a search at Halkhori Chowk in Ekdara Rural Municipality-4, Superintendent of Armed Police Sher Bahadur Adhikari said.
Saroj Kumar Kurmi, 26, of Sirahipati, Patdaura Gram Panchayat, Sitamadhi, Bihar, was arrested, the officer said. When the Honda Sign motorcycle on which Kurmi was riding was stopped and checked, a Katuwa pistol and one bullet hidden under the seat of the motorcycle were recovered.
The Indian national arrested with weapons has been handed over to the District Police Office, Mahottari for further investigation.
